2018 brings with it fresh opportunities, a fresh start and time to plan for the year ahead. I think it’s fair to say that there’s a certain amount of uncertainty when it comes to both the financial and political systems of our country. The dark cloud of Brexit still looms large on the horizon, with equally optimistic and pessimistic forecasts on the outcome ahead, so it’s not hard to see why confusion is commonplace.
The same positive and negative stories also apply to the housing market. I can tell you now, properties are selling. Yes, the market isn’t as strong as, say, back in 2014, but that was the busiest year I have ever known, so comparing the current market to years gone by (as many media outlets do) is unfair.

That’s why, this year we have made the move to combine both our Forest Row and East Grinstead offices to a much larger premises with a strong team to deliver a service that is second to none. We can now accompany more viewings, spend more time proactively encouraging viewings and give more time to each client than ever before.
Our new office, situated on East Grinstead High Street, is much bigger and much more noticeable to passing traffic giving us a bigger presence in town. It is with a great deal of sadness that I leave the old office in the High Street. It was there that I opened the doors to Cole’s for the first time and we leave behind many fond memories, but the market is changing and I firmly believe that, with a new head office, we are now more suited than ever before to continue to provide our unrivalled levels of marketing and service.
